For Background choose the black color and the Pattern 02

2. Image / Add Borders = 1    Symmetric Checked

With the    select this border

With the    flood fill with the color Black a

 Selections / Invert

Effects / 3D Effects / Cutout, with the settings bellow

Repeat the Cutout effect

Selections / Select None

3. Image / Add Borders = 3    Symmetric checked

Select this border and flood fill it with your color

Selections / Select None

4. Image / Add Borders = 1    Symmetric checked

Select this border and flood fill it with the black color

Selections / Select None

5. Image / Add Borders = 1    Symmetric checked

Select this border and flood fill it with the Gold Pattern
